CHILDREN'S POWER PLAY
The YMCA has received funding & been selected thru the Sonoma County Dept of Health Services to be the lead agency in the Children's Power Play Campaign. This is a statewide public health initiative led by the California Department of Public Health. The Power Play Campaign is funded by the USDA Food Stamp program to target children from food stamp eligible families. The YMCA will work with six counties through the Power Play Campaign to implement programs and activities in schools & after school recreation programs: Sonoma, Napa, Lake, Mendocino, Del Norte & Humboldt.
